On 21-22 October, the EUB SuperHub partners also took the opportunity to catch up on recent project management news. The Project Coordinator, Peter Gyuris (GEO), presented the Coordination and Management WP developments and the results achieved up to date (reports submitted, cooperation with EPC sister projects). Specific attention was given to the EUB SuperHub project’s Quality Assurance Plan as the guides for WP and task implementation were presented to the whole consortium.
Subsequently, Ahmed Khoja (HM) took the floor to introduce the concept for the 1.5 days workshop and present the main ideas that would drive the efforts in WP2. Focusing on Task 2.1 "Use case definition, user roles and access rights", Ahmed highlighted its interdependency with other tasks such as T2.2 "Definition of common transnational indicators and assessment metrics for the E-Passport" (led by CSTB) and T2.5 "The digital logbook: data requirements, sources, and collection process" (led by EIHP).
For the deeper technical discussions, partners attended a live demonstration of the FeliCity Tools platform by Bese Pál (FeliCity - leader of WP3), to understand the current capabilities of the online software that will be heavily exploited during the development of the SuperHub platform.
Afterwards, all the project partners participated in a dynamic workshop dedicated to sketching out and brainstorming the first version of the use cases. During the workshop, the partners alternated their roles either as end-users of the SuperHub platform or as the platform developer that translated the user needs into specific use cases. Thanks to their heterogeneous background, the participants produced a wide variety of realistic use cases that were then organized in clear user journey maps.
By the end of the workshop, the partners agreed to further investigate and fine-tune the identified use case bilaterally and again within a more extensive workshop with their Local Advisory Teams (LAT). In total, six Local advisory team meetings are planned to take place by the end of November, one at each partner region. The Local advisory team members will be assembled from several key stakeholders from the industry, research, professional associations, and public policy. The LAT members will provide vital feedback to the project on the developed use cases and user journey maps. They will help guide the project partners into the further development of the EUB SuperHub platform tools to ensure it will reflect real use cases and real market requirements.
